Film Junk’s First Ever Live Oscar Podcast and Interactive Chat
Are you planning on watching the Oscars this Sunday? Do you find that you usually start getting bored somewhere around hour three? Why not join the Film Junk crew as we watch the broadcast live and attempt to keep ourselves (and others) entertained with witty banter, sketchy predictions and limited insight into this year’s nominees and winners?
All you have to do is head over to Talkshoe.com this Sunday night starting at 7 pm EST and join our live Talkcast. You can listen in as we first do our regular weekly one-hour podcast, followed by a live free-form audio commentary to accompany the proceedings, during which we will engage in discussion with yourself and other movie fans in the online chatroom. Let’s face it, we all love making fun of celebs! We’re also asking people to e-mail us their picks for most and least deserving Academy Award winners from the past and we will read them during the show and discuss. Will this be posted as an mp3 after the show?

The podcast itself will be posted as usual, but I’m guessing the rest of it won’t be all that exciting to listen to unless you’re watching the Oscars at the same time. But if people want it, maybe we can edit it down to just a few highlights or something.
