Film Junk Podcast Episode 102 Tonight: Live on Talkshoe!
Here’s your weekly heads up that the Film Junk podcast is being recorded tonight at 8 pm EST. Once again it will be broadcast live via Talkshoe (barring any unforeseen technical difficulties). We’d like to invite you to join in the discussion and interact with the show as we’re recording it. All you have to do is sign up for a Talkshoe account and download the software client, then log in at 8 pm tonight and join the Talkcast!
In order to call in and talk live, you will need to call a U.S. phone number, which will be problematic for anyone outside of the U.S. However, you can also post questions and comments in the chat room, which we will do our best to respond to. Topics for tonight’s show include our review of Pan’s Labyrinth, our top 5 worst parody films, Fox threatening to delay Canadian releases due to piracy, and Trailer Trash.

You have to call an actual phone? That’s lame. I was so excited about this, but I don’t want to have to set up an expense account to do it.
Posted by Henrik on January 29th, 2007Turns out it was pretty cheap afterall. And since I have slept most of the afternoon, I will be joining the Talkcast.
Posted by Henrik on January 29th, 2007No chance of me calling you from Australia
.
Is this the chat room??
Anyway, am curious to hear your thoughts on The Devil’s Backbone, the earlier film directed by del Toro, which I consider to be one of the best horror/ghost films ever made.
Posted by thesnowleopard on January 29th, 2007Talkshoe has an interactive chatroom as part of their software where people can type messages as they listen to the show live. For now we aren’t really expecting many people to call-in and talk live, but we’re hoping there will be a free solution soon for people outside the U.S.
As for The Devil’s Backbone, I haven’t seen it but have been meaning to track it down for a while now. Pan’s Labyrinth might inspire me to do just that.
