John Waters was hysterically funny, but alot of the other interviews were sorta bland I thought. There is a lot of questionable stuff... Like, he just so happened to hire a lesbian detective, who just so happened to have an attractive young female helper? It may seem like nitpicking, but whenever I watch a documentary things like that always stand out to me. Listening to the film-makers' experiences, and ultimately his own experience at the appeal, was very interesting, but the detective story totally fell flat to me. I don't really care who the people are, and the list of names ultimately feels impersonal and inconsequential. I'd give this movie a 2.5/4.
