Early in 2006, the U.K.’s Channel 4 treated viewers to what seemed to be a one-of-a-kind TV special: Ricky Gervais, star of The Office, interviewing Curb Your Enthusiasm star/Seinfeld co-creator Larry David. For fans of both, the pairing made sense since they both employed the same kind of awkward situational humour. Well apparently the special was such a success that they decided to bring back Gervais to interview another one of his idols: writer/director Christopher Guest (aka The Godfather of the Mockumentary).

The good news is that some thoughtful bloke has decided to post the entire interview on YouTube so that the rest of us can see it too! Sweet. I haven’t watched it yet myself, but I have provided links for all 5 parts below. (You can also find the Larry David interview on there somewhere too.) Apparently there is also a special where he interviews Garry Shandling, and there are plans for Gervais to interview John Cleese, Matt Groening and Michael Richards (that last one should cover a few juicy topics!).
