New To Theatres This Weekend – Jan. 26, 2007

Well I can’t say I’m overly excited to see any of the new releases this weekend, although on the bright side, Pan’s Labyrinth does seem to have expanded even further. I’m guessing Epic Movie is probably the first true Razzy contender of the year… which means it’s a must-see! I know a lot of people are excited about Joe Carnahan’s Smokin’ Aces, and while it may have potential, I can’t help but feel it’s another Guy Ritchie-esque overly flashy crime flick. Then again, I suppose The Departed was an overly flashy crime flick too, and I liked it. Does Kevin Smith play the funny sidekick in Catch and Release? Either way I’m not paying money for it.
