Monday Morning Box Office Report: Jan. 22, 2007

It’s pretty surprising to see Stomp the Yard rule the box office two weeks in a row, but I suppose there really isn’t much in the way of competition out there right now. The Hitcher managed to place 4th with just over $8 million, and Pan’s Labyrinth managed to crack the top 10 this week after expanding to more theatres. I wonder how well it would have done in more than 600 theatres??

1. Stomp the Yard — $13.3M
2. Night at the Museum — $13M
3. Dreamgirls — $8.71M
4. The Hitcher — $8.23M
5. The Pursuit of Happyness — $6.7M
6. Freedom Writers — $5.56M
7. Pan’s Labyrinth — $4.5M
8. Children of Men — $3.73M
9. The Queen — $3.7M
10. Arthur et les Minimoys — $3.1M
