The next DVD release has been announced for what has quickly become one of HBO’s most popular show nowadays (second only to The Sopranos, I suspect, although that’s just pure speculation on my part). Entourage Season 3, Part 1 will see the light of day this April, a few weeks after the show returns from its 7 month hiatus. Now before you get all worked up and annoyed that they’re releasing this season in two parts, Part 1 will actually contain all 12 episodes that aired last summer. When the show returns in March (March 18th to be exact, according to TV.com), the 8 episodes that air will be tacked on as a continuation of Season 3, rather than a whole new season. I don’t really understand the strategy, but it’s the same thing they did with the final season of The Sopranos too. Entourage Season 3, Part 1 hits stores on April 3rd, and will contain audio commentary on a couple of episodes.
