In stores this week, you’ve got a few choice picks including the high octane Jason Statham flick Crank, Season 1 of Ricky Gervais’ newest show Extras, and Mike Judge’s latest comedy Idiocracy (which Fox had tried to sweep under the rug with a very limited release back in September). Also possibly worth checking out is Neil Burger’s The Illusionist, starring Ed Norton, Paul Giamatti and Jessica Biel, Patrick Stettner’s The Night Listener, starring Robin Williams, Toni Collette and Rory Culkin, and Marshall Curry’s documentary Street Fight. Sheez, I hate Fox. They screwed up another Mike Judge flick. Go figure. I figure he must have made an enemy high up there or something to get this shoddy treatment.
