Teaser Trailer for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Apple has the first teaser trailer up for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, and hey guess what… we actually get to see the Silver Surfer! In action! I guess I can stop my whining now because it does look pretty damn good. The teaser is basically just a high altitude chase between Johnny Storm and the Surfer… no taste of any story elements just yet. I have a good feeling about this movie though. The first Fantastic Four flick was a lot of fun, and it didn’t take itself too seriously. I don’t know if people are going to respond well to the sequel, but the first one did make about $330 million worldwide. Not too shabby. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer hits theatres on June 15th, sneaking in between Hostel 2/Ocean’s Thirteen on the weekend before and Evan Almighty the weekend after (damn we are in for a lot of sequels this year). WOOHOO! I’m excited to see this one especially since I’m one of the few that really enjoyed the first flick. Who knows, maybe this will be one of those few franchises in which the second movie is better than the first!
