I just dont get the appeal of the Pirates movies. they are probably the most popular movies of all time that I dont like. actually, er, i havent seen the second one yet.

selling 5 million copies not only makes the record industry look like absolutely tiny potatoes, it explains why when i was at the video store there wasnt any rented out. they all bought instead.

First one was so-so. Too long. Had really high hopes for the second one, the trailer looked awesome.

Thought it was a steaming pile of shit. And so long I couldn't believe it. I'm not going to see the 3rd one unless somebody crams it down my throat, which I have no doubt will happen. Just like with the last LOTR movie when it's released on DVD, EVERY home I will go into will have it playing on their TVs. Guess that is what's happening with this movie as well. Pathetic.
