Monday Morning Box Office Report: Dec. 4, 2006
Well you just can’t beat dancing penguins or James Bond right now at the box office, as both Happy Feet and Casino Royale continued their one-two punch in theatres this weekend. The only new film to crack the top 5 was, predictably, The Nativity Story. Turistas and Van Wilder 2 placed #8 and 10 respectively. Interesting to note:Borat is finally starting to fall a bit, placing 7th behind the handful of holiday films that are now in theatres.

8. Turistas — $3.54M
9. Stranger Than Fiction — $3.38M
10. Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj — $2.38M

nativity story doesnt do nearly as much business as the jesus movie where he’s having his flesh ripped off for 2 hours. what does that tell you?
