It deserved at least one for Kinnear. In general, it appears to have been a good year for independent film. I liked both "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Half Nelson" but of the two, "Half Nelson" was, in my opinion, a better film. Either way, it'll be interesting to see how this pans out.
