Ever since we heard the announcement of a Mr. Bean movie sequel I’ve been questioning whether or not it was true… I mean, Mr. Bean is just so 15 years ago. But I guess Rowan Atkinson doesn’t have much else going for his career at the moment, so he had to give it one last shot. It’s kind of sad actually, I mean, I think he’s a funny guy but when he can’t find anything better to do than this, well, there’s gotta be problems. Bean 2 now has a title and it’s called Mr. Bean’s Holiday. Hilarity ensues when Bean decides to take a little vacation somewhere in southern France… apparently he even crashes the Cannes film festival. The first trailer is now up on YouTube and it looks pretty damn mediocre. Despite the fact that it’s an inoffensive, light-hearted comedy, I’ll be very surprised if this movie generates any kind of return at all. It will be released on March 30th, 2007 in the U.K., while the U.S. release was pushed back until September. It currently looks like Canada may still be getting it in March as well.
