Apparently the Kazakhstani president showed his support of the movie publicly a couple of days ago as well. It seems that after seeing the movie, the higher-ups in Kazakhstan realized that the joke may not be on them afterall, and that they should be glad that Cohen chose Kazakhsten and not Usbekistan (assholes!) for Borat. But does this mean we will not get the "Nomads" movie afterall? What a shame... When I read about that nomination I thought it was pretty awesome.
