Nathan Fillion to Guest Star on an Episode of Lost
Responding to complaints that many fans had last season, the producers of ABC’s hit series Lost have decided that rather than confusing and frustrating viewers with random re-runs throughout the season, they are going to run the show in two solid blocks, with a 3 month hiatus in the middle. Unfortunately, that hiatus is coming all too soon, with the last episode this year slated to be on November 8th, before picking up again on February 7th, 2007.
One interesting tidbit will have Firefly fans flocking to that mid-season finale, however. It seems that Captain Reynolds himself, Nathan Fillion, will be guest starring in the November 8th episode. The episode, entitled “I Do”, will find Kate making a choice between Jack or Sawyer, and Locke discovering a hidden message that will help unlock more of the island’s secrets. Fillion’s character will be named Kevin, but there’s no word on whether or not he will be an “Other” or one of the many generic island-dwellers who never seem to take part in the main story. What I’m wondering is whether or not this will mean the beginning of the end for Lost, since everything Fillion’s been involved in seems to be cursed in some way.
