CONTEST: Win a Copy of Mission: Impossible 3 on DVD!!!
This one is for all you Tomkat haters out there. This week Filmjunk will be giving away a copy of Mission: Impossible 3 on DVD!! That’s right, you’re favourite Scientologist shooting his guns at your favourite gay novelist/creepy pervert (’I'm gonna fuck you so hard, you’ll be coming out of your ears. Fuck you…’), all the while being directed by your favourite Trekkie! Are you excited? Good, now pay attention. What you’re going to have to do is email us a few lines of dialogue that you hope to hear in the new Transformers movie! It can be a small chat between two robots, or one maginificent piece of dialogue spoken by your favourite Autobot or Decipticon! Here’s an example:
Robot #1: “I….can’t….move!!!”
Robot #2: “It’s Robo-tron! He seems to be using some sort of high-density magnetic ray! My circuits are fried!”
Robot #1: “Mine too! But the destiny of the world lies in your metal hands! All I wanted was to be human! Why must I be cursed with this metal body?”
And there you have it! Who knew that writing dialogue for a giant robot movie could be so easy? So me and Sean will work together to pick the best line/lines and your scene will be featured on the next Filmjunk podcast!! Shortly thereafter you will recieve your copy of M:I3 in the mail! Sweet deal!

What region is the DVD man?
Posted by Henrik on October 24th, 2006It’s a Region 1 dvd. So North Americans only. But you can still enter the contest and try and get your lines on the show. If we get enough, maybe we’ll do an honourable mention type thing.

They’re really well-made and I’m a big fan of new stuff going on on sites like this where the look changes in unexpected ways. I literally sat here a week ago refreshing for about 5 minutes. Hope that helped your traffic stats.
Anyway, I should probably comment on-topic, so allow me to say that I think your Transformers dialogue above is both more eloquent and Oscar-worthy than anything we’ll see in the actual movie next year.
And you should probably just give the M:I3 DVD to yourself.

A few P.R. groups have added us to their mailing lists so occasionally they are offering up DVDs to giveaway or review. It’s pretty random really, but we’re going to try and get more giveaways for the site wherever possible.
