Teaser Trailer for Black Christmas Remake Online
Some of us around these parts are big fans of the original 1974 film Black Christmas, and when news came out that the film was being remade, the normal reaction was to jump to conclusions and assume that it would be a complete travesty. And that will, in all likelihood, still be the case, but I am curious to see what Glen Morgan, creator of the Final Destination series, can do with a forgotten classic like this. We’re still waiting on an official trailer for the film, but in the meantime a short teaser has gone up on the web this week. Although it doesn’t show any actual footage, I quite enjoyed how it uses the ol’ bait and switch technique. It should get people’s attention if and when the teaser appears in theatres, although it does bring up questions about how they are marketing this flick. I can see a lot of people watching the teaser and thinking that it looks silly and staying far away from it. Have a look and see what you think. The new version of Black Christmas hits theatres on December 25th.

I first saw this movie last year when hubby decided that I needed a good taste of classic horror. I was so impressed I’m seriously thinking of adding it to my collection. As for this teaser….I’m a little interested. It’ll be interesting to see what the actual trailer will look like.
