Teaser Trailers for Hot Fuzz Now Online
Do you like Shaun of the Dead? Hey, who doesn’t? Well after months of anticipation, we’ve finally got our first look at the new film from Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg, Hot Fuzz. Instead of repeating themselves with another rom/zom/com, this time around they’re giving us a fresh take on the buddy cop genre. Pegg plays London police constable named Nicholas Angel, who gets reassigned to a sleepy village where not much happens. He is having trouble adjusting to the lack of action, that is until a series of suspicious deaths convince him that foul play is afoot. The movie co-stars Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Steve Coogan, Jim Broadbent and Timothy Dalton. A pair of teaser trailers have just gone online over at the Rogue Pictures and Working Title websites. Both are pretty busy right now, but just keep trying, it’s well worth it! Hot Fuzz hits theatres on March 9th, 2007. Looks like another comedy classic in the making.

That actually looks funny! Especially considering that I wasn’t particularly impressed with “Shaun of the Dead”

Posted by Goon on December 2nd, 2006it’s a tribute to cop films. not a “fresh take” on them.
