Following in the pioneering footsteps of the Snakes On A Plane marketing team, it seems that NBC has started using some unique methods of their own to promote The Office. On the website for The Office Season 2 DVD, they currently have a neat little feature that allows you to get Dwight Schrute to call a friend using one of 5 different pre-recorded messages. He calls randomly at some point during the day, and after berating the listener at the other end of the line he also reveals a secret code that will unlock some exclusive deleted scenes from the show. Not quite as fun as the Samuel L. Jackson customizable phone call, but for Office fans it’s still good for a laugh or two. You can also read Dwight’s blog and leave comments for him.
