Just did a search on Amazon.com. The DVD set “Blade: House of Chthon” will be released on September 18, 2007 for $14.99. The specifications says it will be 1 Disc and in Widescreen.

When you watch most shows the first season they are usually weak. With Blade that wasn’t the case. They developed characters, explored plotlines. They did a great job for a first season and low cable budget. The 13 episodes had a correct mix of story/drama and action. Its a fine line to walk with this type of project. It just came on Xbox Live Marketplace for download. I hope DVDs come out soon. I watched all 13 episodes and look forwarded to buying them on DVD.

never really got into the series, i think i watched the first half of the first show and lost interest.

That’s not surprising but kind of sad because it did have its moments and to be honest, it’s better than some of the other crap that’s still on the air.
