Reservoir Dogs 15th Anniversary DVD Specs
Lionsgate Home Entertainment have just announced the specs for their upcoming 15th Anniversary Edition DVD release of Quentin Tarantino’s cult classic Reservoir Dogs. As promised, it comes in a pretty cool and unique gasoline can package, and includes some new never-before-seen bonus material, in addition to a lot of the same extras that were found on the 10th Anniversary Edition. Among the new features are a “Pulp Factoids” pop-up trivia viewer, “Playing It Fast and Loose” documentary, and an interview with the Senior Marketing Manager for the video game (which is, of course, the real reason why this DVD set is being made). Unfortunately it looks like they still haven’t replaced the simulated audio commentary from the 10th Anniversary Edition (spliced together from interviews) with a proper one. Seeing as this is now the 3rd DVD release for Reservoir Dogs, I highly doubt it’s going to be on many people’s “must buy” list. The 15th Anniversary Edition hits stores on October 24th at a suggested retail price of $19.98 US.

I have a version of this which has the movie, and 7 minutes of snippets of interviews with Tarantino when he had just made the film. He has a mullet.
Without a commentary, there is no way I’d ever double-dip anything.
Posted by Henrik on September 26th, 2006Well, I’ve yet to add this to my meager collection so this may be the time to do it. I love the tin. Very cool.
