Sean Penn To Play Albert Einstein?
At this point in his career, Sean Penn seems to be consistently seeking out interesting and challenging roles. This week there has been a report that he is in talks to star as the brilliant physicist Albert Einstein in an upcoming TV movie. Normally I would be wondering why Penn would bother with a crappy TV movie, but it sounds like the project is an HBO production, and will be directed by Italian filmmaker Liliana Cavani (Ripley’s Game).
Personally I’d love to see a biopic of some sort on Einstein as he was one crazy, kooky individual. I’m actually kind of surprised there haven’t been many films about him up to this point (Young Einstein starring Yahoo Serious notwithstanding). With a good makeup job I can definitely see Sean Penn transforming himself into the role, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that there is one person who was put on this Earth to star as Albert Einstein: horror director John Carpenter! Come on, check out those pictures! You know I’m right.

your source is a website that disallows all jews and blacks from having credit for inventing or pioneering ANYTHING, because they are so full of hate and/or jealousy of these individuals that they have to identify with the accomplishments of their race over their own personal accomplishments. this is pathetic.
unless you can produce an independent source that would echo any of its points, it shouldnt be given 2 seconds worth of credit.

Goon, the meet in the middle thing was a joke, but my point was to acknowledge the pro vs. con sides.
Overall all I don’t care, but if its something that is overexposed and over worshipped, I like to question it…just my nature I guess.

Van Flandern has some interesting theories here like the “Exploded Planet Hypothesis”. Most of them aren’t that “far out” but all of them seem to be based on real evidence and make accurate predictions.
He also definitely favors Lorentzian Relativity over (Einstein’s) Special Relativity and explains why. Anyone who has had a year or so of college physics should be able to understand most of his ideas.
But again, worship with caution
