John Travolta Is Gay?
Tabloids can make for an entertaining read every now and then, and although they generally fabricate all their headlines, the photos are a little bit harder (though not impossible!) to fake. Goon sent me a link to this curious photo of everyone’s second favourite scientologist, John Travolta, who was in Toronto recently preparing for the upcoming Hairspray remake. I’m sure there’s a perfectly logical explanation for why John Travolta was kissing this unidentified man as they boarded his private airplane, but at the moment it escapes me. Has all the cross-dressing of Hairspray made him a little sexually confused? Or was he just enjoying the newfound freedom and tolerance of gay-friendly Canada? Either way, it’s worth a look!

the reason Tom Cruise and Travolta still are on the end of so much gay rumor has a lot to do with being Scientologists… they more than Christians even wiill have a harder time coming out of the closet. Scientology is VERY anti-gay, and since they are a cult they have stricter measures to lock it up, keep it in check and punish the gay members of their sect. IF they were gay they would be unable to come out lest they want to get kicked out of Scientology and be cut off from all their family, etc that wish to remain with the cult.
Posted by Goon on August 31st, 2006its like the Isaac Hayes situation, Travolta, if gay – is to be pitied here – the leverage against him is overwhelming – every 6 months scientologists have to be audited and basically confess everything, Catholic style, and they WILL release the info to trash them if they left Scientology and spoke out against it. the CoS has historically been very brutal to those that stray…
but worse in the Travolta camp is the fact that he has an autistic son and wont have him properly treated b/c of the CoS’s views on medication/psychiatry, etc.
Wow. That is quite the picture. I’ll have to keep my blind eyes peeled to further development. Not that I really care but it’ll be interesting to see if anything comes out of this picture. However, I’m guessing the only thing that will transpire is a lawsuit.
