Haley Joel Osment Busted for DUI
Hey remember last month when it was reported that Haley Joel Osment flipped his car in an L.A. suburb? Well it turns out that he suffered a broken rib in the crash, and (surprise, surprise) just happened to be driving drunk at the time. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana. I’m telling you… these child actors, they’re nothing but trouble! He was charged yesterday with “misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence, marijuana possession and driving under the influence with the special allegation of having a blood-alcohol content of .15 percent or higher”. It seems doubtful that he will spend any time in jail as a result, but his attorney will request bail be set at $15,000. Lucky for Osment, someone else by the name of Mel Gibson has already screwed up worse than him and is stealing most of the headlines right now. At least Osment was smart enough not to hate Jews.

this is one kid that will end up in the Surreal Life house one of these days, i mean, has he done a good movie since The Sixth Sense, i cant think of one. this is an example of child actors gone bad, see you on True Hollywood Story.

He mostly does voice work. Its unfair to judge where a child actors career is going while he’s in his teen years and constantly changing. Dont we know by now that calling people washed up and laughing at them is partially WHY they spin out of control and do shit like this? one day they’re the worlds favorite little boy, then they’re constantly being made fun of and having to daily question where they are going.
What struck me about this kid when he first hit was how intelligent he was for someone his age. Sure he spoke some retarded buzzwords but he was pretty damn eloquent and serious about acting. If he doesnt get any parts in the future I can only guess its because some agent thinks he’s too ugly. Meanwhile a bunch of pre-teen heartthrobs thrill audiences with another computer themeed horror movie.
