Crazed Fan To Watch Snakes On A Plane For 24 Hours Straight
If there’s one thing that the Snakes On A Plane phenomenon has shown, it is the fact that people (particularly people on the internet) love to capitalize on a trend in any way they possibly can. In Austin, Texas this weekend, a guy named Shannon McCormick is using the movie to get his own 15 minutes of fame by watching the film for 24 hours straight. He will be live blogging the event (in between viewings, I assume) and just generally contributing to the already out of control hype for this movie. I can only imagine what kind of living hell he has just constructed for himself. I don’t think I’d sit through any movie for 24 hours straight, much less something as banal as Snakes On A Plane. this guy is going just alittle overboard with watching the same movie all day long. i am sure that even he will get bored after the fourth time watching it. get a life.
