Chicken Little Director Investigates Sherlock Holmes Movie
There have been a ton of Sherlock Holmes movies over the years, and I don’t remember a single thing about any of them. I know I’ve seen at least a few, some were on TV while others were in theatres (and many others were before my time), but it’s disappointing that none of the screen adaptations based on such a classic character have been memorable in any way. Well it looks like a new Sherlock Holmes movie is now in the works, albeit a rather unorthodox one. The movie is called Sherlock’s Secretary, and centers on someone in present day England who lives above the Sherlock Holmes Museum located at the famous 221b Baker Street address. Apparently Sherlock Holmes, despite being a fictional character, receives letters from real people quite often requesting his assistance in solving real-life crimes. When this Baker Street tenant receives one such letter, he is so inspired that he decides to take on the case! The movie is directed by Mark Dindal (Chicken Little), and although it will be live action, it is unclear whether or not the movie is aimed at kids or adults. I’m hoping the former, because to be honest… it sounds pretty lame!

its crazy that there really hasnt been any big movie on one of the most famous detectives in history. hopefully they do something good with this and produce a half decent flick.
