Are you as psyched about this Borat movie as I am? I hope I’m not getting my expectations too high, but Da Ali G Show was one of the funniest shows I’ve seen in the past couple of years and Sacha Baron Cohen is basically a genius. As expected, the first trailer we saw for the Borat movie was just a teaser, probably featuring footage that may not even be in the movie itself. Yahoo! just put up a new, longer trailer for the film that gives us a better idea of what to expect.

Unlike the Ali G movie, which was just a fictional comedy movie based on Ali G’s character and his friends back home from Staines, this will be made up of segments shot just like that ones on Da Ali G Show. You can see Borat causing chaos on a New York City subway, getting lessons in how to tell jokes from a “humor coach”, inadvertently pissing off some feminists during an interview, and singing the national anthem at a rodeo (where if I remember correctly, it was reported that he nearly caused a riot). There’s no two ways about it… this movie is going to rule.

On a side note, Borat also now has a MySpace account! Add him to your friends list and check out his profile. His favourite movies just happen to be “Pluto Nash”, “Robot cop”, “Womanman Doubtfire”, and sex comedy “The Accused”.
