Best Marketing Gimmick Ever: Customizable Phone Message From Samuel L. Jackson
You know, every time I start losing interest in the box office juggernaut that will be Snakes On A Plane, New Line comes along and blows my mind with a new marketing gimmick and all is right with the world again. This could be the coolest thing EVER. You can now create your own phone message from Samuel L. Jackson himself, choosing from a number of pre-defined choices, that will then be sent to a friend via e-mail or by phone. You specify your name and the name of your friend, followed by their profession, hobby and common method of transportation, and it dynamically generates a message from Sam Jackson, inviting them to see Snakes On A Plane. Seriously, you’ve gotta try this thing out, it’s way too fun. And stop painting those damn fingernails!

This thing’s insane. Before sending a phone message out to others, I customized one for myself (except Sam couldn’t say “Nuno”), and sent it to my work number and the instant I clicked on “send” the mother fucking phone rang and it was mother fucking Samuel L. Jackson on the phone.

Posted by themarina on August 3rd, 2006Hey Jared, this is Samuel L. Jackson.
How you doing man? How’s London? I heard about your film doing well at the Yorkton Film Festival, and I wanted to call and say congratulations.
When are you going to be back on the continent? Maybe you and I could hook-up a meeting sometime soon.
Talk to you soon, man.
