I have no idea why Marvel made this movie; they took a "real world," cinematic, R-RATED approach to the Avengers and decided to make it into a kids' movie. Why not make an "Avengers" movie for the kids? Why use Marvel's more adult title, and water it down when child-friendly ones already exist? I'd rather see Marvel make its own version of "The Animatrix": High-quality directors and animation, and a series of shorts about different characters. Anyone interested in this, please read the comic first.
