Watch Pilot Episode For Sci-Fi Channel’s New Series Eureka Online

After the success of the new Battlestar Galactica series, The Sci-Fi Channel has decided to re-invest some of that cash flow into new ventures including one original series in particular that has everyone talking. It’s called Eureka, and the basic idea is this: at the end of WWII, President Truman decided to foster a community of the greatest American minds where they could work together and strive for more groundbreaking scientific achievements. They founded a small town called Eureka, California, that would remain top secret under the watchful eye of the Pentagon. When a U.S. Marshal is transporting a prisoner through the area and crashes his car, he gets stranded in Eureka, where he experiences firsthand the many strange residents and bizarre phenomena resulting from their experiments gone awry. The show has a definite Twin Peaks feel to it, but it also has a quirky weird science vibe, kind of like Men In Black or a Douglas Adams book. The show just premiered on The Sci-Fi Channel last week, and now you can watch the entire 84 minute pilot episode online. I enjoyed it, and you might too! Give it a look at the link below.
