Haley Joel Osment Hospitalized After Car Crash
Aww, isn’t that sweet… Haley Joel Osment is all growns up now. He even got himself a driver’s licence! Only problem is, he must have been taught to drive by Joaquin Phoenix or another reckless Hollywood star as he somehow managed to flip his car last night in a Los Angeles suburb. He was driving home in his ‘95 Saturn (don’t know why I expected something a little more extravagant) at about 1 am when the car struck a brick pillar and flipped. He was reportedly conscious and able to talk at the scene, but was rushed to nearby Huntington Hospital. No word yet on whether Werner Herzog was the one who pulled him from the wreck, and his condition is currently unknown. Well I suppose it is a rite of passage in Hollywood, and although I certainly wish the kid no harm (unlike some of our readers!) I find it odd that this would happen the same week that M. Night Shyamalan’s new flick hits theatres. Do you believe in “signs”?
