I certainly don’t have anything against Affleck. He has been in some good movies, and some really bad ones. But I think he’ll be good in this and it will be good for his career overall.

I think Affleck gets too much flack. Poor guy. He has talent but he has taken some major hits – particularly in the rags – which has really affected him with the movies. “Jersey Girl” was not NEARLY as bad as people made it out to be.

I think this looks great and I agree, the timing couldn’t be better.

Affleck looked good shouting in the trailer.

He’s an alright actor, maybe not worthy of all the hate, but he did act in some shit movies.

“Reindeer Games”, “Forces of Nature”, “Phantoms”, “Bound”….

He was alright in Changing Lanes, i thought his best scene was when he got angry with the priest in the confessional and yelled at him. He does seem to have a more raw side where some emotion gets out, but of course in stuff like Pearl Harbor it wouldn’t fit.

I’m looking forward to this.
