Axl Rose Bites… (A Security Guard)
Well with all the movie talk around here 24/7, I’m sure you’re dying for something a little different by now. (You know, aside from videos of people who are afraid of pickles.) So how about some Guns N Roses news? You know you love em. Yeah, I still can’t believe that their new album is actually going to hit stores sometime this year, but it seems GNR frontman Axl Rose is finding creative new ways to get himself headlines and thus, indirectly promote the upcoming record. He was in Sweden earlier this week to perform a surprise set for Rosario Dawson’s 27th birthday party (isn’t she a little young to be hanging out with Axl?), and after the show he retired to the Berns Hotel, where he reportedly got into an altercation with a security guard and bit the man’s leg. As expected, he was drunk at the time, but there’s no word on whether or not he had eaten dinner that night. Rose was arrested and spent most of the day in jail, before eventually being released and agreeing to pay a $5,500 fine, plus $1,360 in damages to the guard. Well, I suppose you have to at least respect him for continuing to live the life of a rock star so many years after he stopped being an actual “star”. Hats off to you Axl… now cut those disgusting dreads already.

That is the freakin’ funnyest thing I’ve heard lately! Don’t get me wrong, I love GNR but man, he’s been going downhill for years.
To think I actually paid good money and nearly got caught in the riot a few years back when they were supposed to come to Vancouver and then never showed up….

yeah i myself loved GNR when they were around over a decade ago. but this new version is just not right, the least that axl can do is put this album out under a different name. he is looking like hell and sounding like hell as well, remember that mtv video awards a few years back.
