Uwe Boll Dares Critics To Enter Boxing Ring With Him In Next Movie

You know him, you love him… you love to hate him. He’s Dr. Uwe Boll, director of such masterpieces as House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne, and the soon to be released In The Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. Did you know he actually has a doctorate in literature? Seriously, as bad as his movies have supposedly been (and I will admit, I haven’t actually sat through one yet) I’m kind of starting to admire the guy. Especially with this latest announcement about a special publicity stunt he is planning for his next movie, an adaptation of the video game Postal. If the news story is to be believed, Boll has issued a press release inviting 5 of his most vocal critics to come to Vancouver in September and enlist as an extra in the movie, where they will enter a ring and go head to head in a boxing match with him (for 10 rounds no less!). Footage of the fights will be posted on the internet and will also be used in the movie. While this certainly doesn’t say much for the movie itself, it does speak volumes about the size of his Bolls… I mean balls. It is actually a pretty sly move too, because we all know that 90% of movie critics are just fanboys who wish they could have been actors themselves… right? The icing on the cake is that he is actually calling out Roger Avary and Quentin Tarantino, as well as a number of IMDB posters that he has mentioned by name (including Headhunter004, Adultswimlover2 and BigSexy77). All I can say is this better not be a joke!
