With the summer season approaching, for the most part all TV watchers have to look forward to is more re-runs. However, HBO and TMN subscribers (along with avid torrenters!) will be able to catch the third seasons of two critically acclaimed shows: Entourage and Deadwood. Deadwood is one of the few HBO shows I have not actually gotten into thus far, and unfortunately for fans it sounds like the third season will be the last. Apparently HBO offered to do a shortened 4th season to wrap things up, but Deadwood creator David Milch turned it down, saying (in not so many words) that he didn’t want their pity. Deadwood Season 3 will premiere on Sunday June 11th, and you can watch a trailer for Season 3 on HBO’s official Deadwood site. The other series due to premiere in June is Entourage, the half-hour feel good story of Vincent Chase, a young movie star who has brought his best friends with him to Hollywood to live a life of luxury.
