Following up on yesterday’s news about the original Star Wars trilogy being released on DVD in their unaltered form, here’s another little tidbit that’s sure to get all the Star Wars collectors riled up. Hasbro has announced that they will be issuing a special limited edition action figure of the Emperor himself, George Lucas. His plastic counterpart will be outfitted in a stormtrooper suit, a reference to the similar Han Solo and Luke Skywalker figures with stormtrooper disguises. The toy will only be available through Hasbro’s new “Ultimate Galactic Hunt” promotion, as a special mail-in offer. You can see some higher-resolution pictures over at RebelScum.com. Personally I think I would have preferred to see Lucas in a golden bikini but I guess this will have to do.
