New To Theatres This Weekend – April 21, 2006

Well if you want to see what 24: The Movie might look like, just head out to theatres and check out The Sentinel… everytime I see commercials on TV that’s what I think it is. Also see horror video game adaptation Silent Hill, Hugh Grant in the American Idol satire American Dreamz, or what looks to be a bad made-for-TV movie, The Rocket: The Maurice Richard Story. Among the limited releases this weekend is Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story, a mockumentary about a paintball player I had heard about sometime ago. Funny idea, although the trailer looks lame.

  1. Silent Hill looks promising, but I’m afraid that it will over use CGI effects to showcase the transformations.

  2. Silent Hill was absolutely crappy, didnt like anything about it. i had big hopes for this flick and it did nothing but disappoint.

    nothing else this weekend looks promising, The Sentinel looks like a bad episode of 24.
