Check Out The Trailer For Rian Johnson’s “Brick”

Brick is an interesting movie that made a big impression at Sundance last year, and now it is finally getting a limited release in theatres this weekend. Written and directed by first time director Rian Johnson, the movie incorporates noir elements, mixing a hard-boiled detective story with a teen drama backdrop. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Brendan Frye, a loner at his high school, who is pushed into action when his ex-girlfriend Emily (Emilie de Ravin of Lost) unexpectedly vanishes. She leaves Brendan with a cryptic message over the phone that leads him straight into the heart of a high school crime ring. Check out the trailer over at the Apple Quicktime site now. It certainly looks like one of the more unique films to come out in a long time.
