Warner Bros Announces “Justice League Heroes” Game
Fans of the Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance and X-Men Legends series of action RPG games will be excited to hear news of the latest project from original Dark Alliance developers, Snowblind Studios. This week Warner Bros Interactive announced that they are working on a new action/adventure RPG based on the Justice League license from D.C. Comics. The game is called Justice League Heroes, and will feature a number of playable characters including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Zatanna, Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern, some of which will be unlockables, and all of which can upgrade their powers over time. Writer Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League Unlimited, Static Shock, Teen Titans) will be writing the story. Justice League Heroes will be released for the Playstation 2, X-Box, and PSP sometime in the fall. I thought the X-Men Legends games were a brilliant way to do an RPG that wasn’t all swords and sorcery for once… rest assured I am definitely looking forward to this.
