Teaser Trailer for “Garfield 2: A Tale Of Two Kitties”
I know we’re only 3 months into 2006, but I can’t help thinking that this year’s crop of movies has been pretty damn horrible so far. And it doesn’t look like things are about to get any better. A teaser trailer has just popped up online for the new Garfield movie, Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties. Bill Murray and Jennifer Love Hewitt are back again for more horrible CGI/live action integrated lameness. Granted, I never did see the first Garfield movie, but I guess enough people must have seen it to warrant a sequel. The teaser for the second movie looks equally embarassing. Bill Murray singing “Cat Scratch Fever”… ’nuff said. This doesn’t even seem remotely similar to the Garfield I remember from the comic strip. I thought he was too lazy to move? The movie is being directed by Tim Hill (Muppets In Space, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie), and hits theatres on June 23, 2006. Check out the teaser at the link below.

Well, it is still better than the Shaggy Dog movie with Tim Allen.
