Trailer For “The Real Dirt On Farmer John”

Apple just added a trailer for a quirky new documentary called The Real Dirt On Farmer John. At first glance, it sounds pretty dull… I mean who wants to see a documentary about a farmer? But this isn’t just your average farmer… John Peterson is a somewhat flamboyant and interesting character, always looking for new ways to make a living in a failing economy, and at the same time pushing for freedom of expression through his farm. From his days as a hippie to being accused in the 80’s of being a devil worshipper and drug dealer, to creating a biodynamic, organic CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm, this sounds like one hell of a story. Directed by Taggart Siegel, the movie is already playing in a few select theatres. Hopefully it will get a wider release in the near future. For more info, check out the movie’s official site.
