There’s been a lot of fanboys on the net waiting for this one, and now we finally have our first look at Kurt Wimmer’s follow up to the cult hit “Equilibrium”. In “Ultraviolet”, Milla Jovovich stars as a genetically modified human with a vampire-liked disease called hemophagia. Although I do feel like Wimmer’s fetishistic sense of style is so typical nowadays, I don’t think many people are going to complain about seeing Jovovich kicking ass in tight leather outfits. I have to admit, I was ready to write this off as another Matrix/Underworld clone, but it looks like Wimmer’s got a much bigger budget than he had with Equilibrium and he’s really put it to good use. The effects and action scenes are eye-popping, and if nothing else this movie looks like it may be a lot of fun to watch. Check out the trailer now at the link below.
