“Stubbs The Zombie in: Rebel Without A Pulse” is one of the many games that hit store shelves just in time for the holiday rush a few months ago. And, as tends to happen with non-sequel/non-licensed games at this time of year, it was largely ignored by the game playing populace. Despite its connection to Bungie co-founder Alex Seropian (it was developed by his new studio Wideload and built using the Halo engine) and a novel concept that puts you in the role of a zombie trying to maim/kill humans and eat their brains, Stubbs The Zombie got pretty disappointing reviews as well. I, for one, am still interested to take it for a spin however, as it seems to have a campy retro-style similar to Destroy All Humans. And who doesn’t love a game that allows you to use flatulence as a weapon? A demo of the game is now freely available on the net for both the PC and the Mac. Click below for the links.
