Ricky Gervais Has His Own Podcast
British comedian Ricky Gervais is a funny guy. From The Office to Extras to stand up comedy, he’s the kind of guy it would probably be fun to just hang out with… and essentially, that’s what his new podcast is. It’s a half-hour long freely downloadable show of him with his co-writer Stephen Merchant and their buddy Karl Pilkington, together talking about everything and nothing all at once. Gervais describes Pilkington as the funniest guy he knows, but only because he isn’t aware that he’s being funny. On the first episode of The Ricky Gervais Show, they discuss “the pros and cons of technological invention”, among other things. I hope it is funnier than his stand-up. I didn’t think that was funny at all. I’m curious about it though and I’ll probably listen to it.
