There’s a juicy little rumour that’s been going around the net today stating that the Halo feature film may have found its director. At the press junkets for King Kong in New York, it seems that Peter Jackson let it slip that Guillermo Del Toro (“Hellboy”, “Blade 2″) is currently in talks to direct. While Del Toro is a pretty big name director and I have enjoyed both of his last two films, I’m not sure that his style is what I personally would have envisioned for Halo. Still, all the video game fanboys must be wetting themselves right now thinking about it. This would also mean that the Hellboy sequel would be put on hold for the time being.
