We now have a release date for the upcoming Ultimate Avengers animated movie, the first of 8 planned Marvel animated features with Lion’s Gate Home Entertainment. The movie will be direct-to-DVD, and will be released on February 21st, 2006 at a suggested retail price of $19.98 U.S. Special features will include a trivia subtitle track, featurettes entitled “Avengers Assemble” and “The Ultimate Voice Talent Search”, a preview of “Ultimate Avengers II” and the “Which Avenger Are You?” DVD-ROM game. A trailer for the Ultimate Avengers movie is expected to be included on the Fantastic Four DVD release, in stores December 13th.
