I suppose I could go back and include this in my earlier post with a bunch of other music videos, but I thought it was so cool it deserved to be on its own. The Flaming Lips’ next album “At War With The Mystics” is slowly drawing nearer, with the tentative release date of January 2006 holding steady. We got a taste of the new album this past summer with the song “Mr. Ambulance Driver” that appeared on the Wedding Crashers soundtrack. Now a brand new song has appeared online, entitled “You Gotta Hold On”, with a fantastic video by Brazilian animation team Lobo. Head over to the site linked below and look for the button in the bottom left that says “Flaming Lips / Lobo”. There is also a short “making of” featurette included.
