Star Trek Breaks Down More Barriers: Sulu’s Gay!
Who would have guessed that after all these years George Takei, Star Trek’s Sulu, is actually gay? Apparently he was inspired by a recent role as a psychologist in the onstage play “Equus” to go public with his sexuality. And what with it being a slow news week and all, it seems to have ignited a media frenzy! Takei revealed that he has been together with his partner Brad Altman for 18 years now. Well I hate to say it but this definitely sheds new light on the vast world of erotic Star Trek fan fiction. Who knows, maybe Spock and Kirk really did more than just meld minds…

P.S. I should probably mention that the guy in the pic is not Takei’s partner. He is just a Star Trek fan but I thought the pic was too funny to pass up.
