“Half-Life 2: Lost Coast” Now Available On Steam
It’s getting pretty crowded out there in first-person shooter land lately. With Call of Duty 2 descending on stores this week, Valve have also decided to release their new expansion to Half-Life 2 as well. Coincidence? Possibly. “Half-Life 2: Lost Coast” isn’t a full-fledged expansion however (that is coming in the form of “Half-Life 2: Aftermath”, release date still TBD). This is just one single-player level created for the purposes of showcasing Valve’s new High Dynamic Range lighting technology. As a result, system requirements are pretty intense (2.6 GHz CPU and 1 GB RAM). But if you’ve got the rig for it, it’s free to play so why not take it for a spin? The game should now be available to install now over Valve’s Steam network.
