Uwe Boll and Gary Coleman Sign On For Postal Movie
As much as people love to bash director Uwe Boll for his craptastic video game to movie adaptations, I think this guy is starting to carve out a real name for himself. I’m envisioning a day where people will pay to see any movie he directs just because they are so terrifically terrible. And now, here is the movie that will finally bring Boll all the legions of fans he truly deserves — Postal: The Movie. Starring Gary Coleman. Need I say more? Anyone who has played Running With Scissors’ ridiculously violent and juvenile first person shooter (or its sequel) knows that a movie adaptation of Postal will be so damn stupid, it will be amazing. We’re talking about a game where you can urinate and vomit on people. We’re talking about a game that, yes, actually featured Gary Coleman, guns a-blazin’, with girls on each arm. Now all we have to do is sit through “Bloodrayne”, “Dungeon Siege”, “Far Cry” and “Hunter: The Reckoning” (among others). At this rate we won’t see Postal in theatres until 2010.
